Update

Our new nest is under going renovation now. :) target to shift in by end of this month which is just few weeks later!! I guess even if they can't finish work on time, it is ok... We will just shuttle the kids to the new childcare centre everyday. Kenneth will starts his 2 months leave starting this Friday!! So shiok...

Kayden can talk a lot now. Very expressive and can form sentences like "daddy make milk milk for didi" or "didi kick kayden head", etc. As for Kaleb, he is at the crawling stage now. I remember when Kayden was 12mths old, can't crawl yet. Day in and out, he will just sit on the bed... This Kaleb is progressing very fast!! Oh, and growing very fast too! Lol... Very soon, he will overtake his gor gor in terms of weight! Lol...

Update....

Kayden is turning 2 years old next month!! Gosh... it just seems like yesterday that he was born!!! As his birthday falls on a Friday this year, we will be taking leave and maybe going to bring him to the zoo..... Guess it's the right time to go now as he seems to know quite a lot of animals.. =)

Will be having a simple party at Mum's place... just the few of us... =) Maybe will buy cake, etc and let him hold his 1st birthday party with his friends in school... and of course, Kaleb will be joining us!!

Kaleb has been rather sick recently.. sigh... cough... flu... fever... I hope he will get well soon. Kayden is also having cough... sigh... Guess the bugs are in the air... As for myself, I have been sick for a long long time!! It just seems like a part of me now... LOL...

Chinese New Year is just round the corner... Wish everyone will have a good celebration... and may the Rabbit year bring more good luck to everyone.... =)

Update....

Wow... been more than 1 month since I last updated!! Life has been very very very very busy!! Busy at work... busy at home also...

Just a little update...

Kayden will be turning 2 years old next month and most likely, we will be throwing a party for him in school, together with his friends. =) He is getting more and more vocal and the other day, he spoke his 1st sentence!! Teacher Fatema was putting lego on the table and he ran up to her and said, "I want to play here!!" I was so thrill... teachers were very excited too! Coz afterall, they witnessed how he transformed from the only-know-how-to-crawl toddler to one who is running and jumping now! LOL. Oh... Kayden also fell down in school, bit his upper lip and came back with a bit of chipped tooth... that was before Christmas. I was so upset about it...

Kayden is also very vain. When I bought new clothing for him, he would insisted on putting them on and walked around at home with it... refusing to change! LOL... When going out, he will parade around if he is wearing a new set of clothing... I wonder whose genes he has for this. LOL...

Kaleb is 6 months old today!!! This little boy has been with us for 6 months already!! How time flies... =) He is learning how to eat "solid" now... and he is ever so ready with his smiles... Teachers adore him in school coz of his "roundness"... I guess chubby baby tend to receive more love and attention. LOL....

As for myself, 2 of the staff are leaving us... one resign and the other one is retiring... Feb 2011 will be a very tough one for me coz 50% of the strength is gone... Left with 2 staff... sigh... and god knows when the new ones are coming!! Anyone interested to join me? LOL... can drop me an email!!

We will be going for our 1st appointment at HDB on 21 Jan 2011!! Finally!! Yeah!!! After CNY, can start renovation... oh no, still don't know which design i want... argh....

Oh... and my 32nd birthday came and went just like this. LOL. Didn't do anything special... just went out to eat with my 3 Ks.... Having the 2 babies with me is the best gift that I can ever have... =) Feel so contented... LOL... and thank you everybody for the well wishes, gifts and ang bao! May everyone have a good and blessed 2011... =)

Humble Little Nest

After so many months of hunting... after seeing 18 number of flats... we finally gotten our own sweet little nest!! =) It was quite a smooth one coz we saw the unit on 14 Nov, told the agent our offer for COV and agent came back with a positive answer on 18 Nov!! We didn't expect to get the unit coz the seller was asking for sky high COV... the offer we made wasn't even half of what she was asking. LOL....

Rush through to get the bank loan, etc... only to know that we need to wait for at least another 2 months before we can go for the 1st appointment at HDB. Reason being, the seller haven't transfer the title deed to herself!! Flat belong to her mum who passed away in April... and according to her lawyer, it is perfectly fine for her to go ahead to market the unit and there is no need to transfer the title deed!! Kenneth was pretty upset over the whole issue and actually wanted to take legal action against the seller... but me, the peace lover, managed to calm him down. The seller gave a discount of $2k for the COV.... If we had sue her, guess our COV will be waived off. LOL. But oh well, I don't think she will want this to happen too...

And so, we can look forward to shifting in around April 2011!!! Already gotten our contractor and works can be started after the 1st appointment!! Can't wait... =)

Update

Both brothers drinking milk at the same time when we went to my Mum's place few weeks back... Hopefully very soon, Kaleb will be able to hold his own milk bottle... =) And really praying hard, he will STOP THE NIGHT FEEDINGS!!! He woke up every 3 hours last night to drink!! Kayden also decided to join in the fun... and right now, I am like a walking zombie in the office... -.-"

The "deed" that Kayden did before drinking milk... I was busy making the milk in the kitchen and only realised that Kaleb's head had got "pattern" when I was feeding him. Kayden drew on him!! LOL... Don't dare to let Kenneth know.... Mum hurriedly wiped those ink stains away... Poor Di Di...

Accident - 19 Nov 2010

While on our way home on 19 Nov, we met with a car accident. Travelling along Upper Thomson Road near Tagore Road, it is a down slope straight road. Due to unknown reasons, the car infront suddenly stop!! We were travelling at fast speed but managed to come to a halt.... but for those behind us... it was so unfortunate that they couldn't break in time. 3 cars, 1 van and 1 lorry is involved in the accident. I was badly shaken... and Kayden's car seat "flew" at the back seat (coz it wasn't strap down). I was so glad that the boys were not in the car....

We were the 2nd car in line. We got banged from behind but merely kissed the car infront. I took a cab back first coz need to fetch the boys. Luckily Kenneth was home and we went to fetch them together. I had very bad headache and neck ache after which. X-ray was done and thank goodness everything was intact. =D
