A Busy Non-Working Day on a Friday

Kenneth and I took childcare leave on 22 Feb 2010 (Friday) with the intention to bring Kayden to KK Hospital for the BCG jab. Left the house at 6am+ coz sent BIL to work first... Reached KK around 8am and went to MacDonalds to have breakfast. After which, went to register. Luckily we did not need to wait too long to see the PD. I hate queueing. *LOL*

Upon seeing the PD, we then realised that it is not COMPLUSORY for our baby to take the BCG jab. Even if we want to let him take, he needs to do a skin test 1st (like the one we did during Pri 6). After taking the skin test, need to wait 3 days before deciding whether he can take the BCG jab or not. Since we were there on a Friday, 3 days later will be a Monday and both of us couldn't take leave. =( In the end, we left without doing anything... waste of time and leave!!! Will be bringing him back for the skin test in February.... So, Kayden "escaped" the poking of needle... *LOL*

Sent Kayden home and we went for my appointment with the doctor.... Didn't want to waste my leave so pack all the appointments in one day. *LOL* Even went to my Brother's house in the afternoon as he had recently just did a major renovation. At the end of the day, I was so dead beat tired and like always, went to bed at 9pm. *LOL* It was indeed a day well spent. =D

As Busy As a Bee.....

Never update for a very long long long time because life is sooooooooo busy!!! Very busy with work and was sent to attend course... *phew* Still need to update about my Birthday Celebration 2010 (Part 3) *LOL*.

Looking forward to the month of February as this will be our very 1st Chinese New Year together with our little boy. =) And our bundle of joy will be having his 1st birthday celebration on this very month too!! Can't wait... already ordered his cake but yet to order the buffet.... and yet to buy those decorative stuff. Hope the celebration will turn out to be a fabulous one!! Although most of the people attending will be from my side. *LOL*

Also, in this very month, something special is going to happen!! I shall blog about it when I have the time. =) Might be going to Hong Kong (not Aussie anymore) in March... Still yet to book anything coz, as usual, very busy with work. *LOL* Weekends? Very busy resting and going to Mum's place. =p Planning to go to Bestie Ms Tan's house this Sunday... hopefully will be able to make it to her house this time round. *LOL*

Birthday Celebration 2010 (Part 2)

Continued my birthday celebration on 3 Jan 2010 (Sunday). This time round, it was with my mum, sis, aunt, cousin, Shannon + Russell. Thanks to my sis for arranging it and we all had a very good time at Sakura (YCK Branch). Lucky we managed to find our way there because my "driver" is not a professional taxi driver and tend to get lost sometimes. *LOL*

Food was great (though I didn't eat much coz not much appetite) and the company was awesome. These are the things that I miss when I was away. Not the food... but this type of gathering... =) Glad that I am back now and don't think will be away again... =D

No pictures of the food coz everyone was busy eating and I was busy feeding Kayden. When I was in Phoenix, they always like to go Sakura for gathering and always telling me the food is fresh and nice... Tried it myself that day and indeed, it's a place worth visiting again... Maybe we will go back again when my appetite is back... =D

Gonna meet my besties this weekend for birthday celebration Part 3... *LOL* Really endless celebration.. oh well, it's a new year, we can take it that we are celebration 2010 too... =) After this weekend, still need to meet couple more people... Can't wait to catch up with them!! =D

Birthday Celebration 2010 (Part 1)

This is the first year we are celebrating my birthday (as well as our ROM anniversary) with our bundle of joy - Kayden!! I chose the venue (to dine) and Kenneth made the reservation and off we went to Dozo, a Japanese Fine Dining restaurant. It is a very nice place and we were given a room to ourselves!! We have all the privacy throughout the session!! We had a 7 course dinner....

Special thanks to Adeline aka Chloe for introducing me to this restaurant. It's a very unique Japanese restaurant and the food is great! Bill is not very expensive too... totally love it!

Now that I am back in Singapore, birthday celebration is no longer just a "you and me" issue (between Kenneth and me). This is just part 1 of the celebration. More celebrations coming up with family and friends!! Stay tune for more pictures!!

Random

Yeah... I managed to take the Shuttle Bus (to Orchard MRT) then took the train (to Sembawang) and then TIBS Shuttle Bus home last night!! Seems like I am getting better and recovering well...

But on Monday, tried taking the train to work... gave up after 2 stops. Alighted and took a cab... Damage was $16... Going home, took the cab again, damage was double that of the morning!!

Hopefully my "driver" won't go on MC again.... then I will have free rides to and from work everyday. =D

Random Update

Some random days at home.... (because it was a long weekend last week)....

Sitting in his high chair and enjoying his baby biscuit. He finally willing to hold it himself and "self-feed". Anyway, he only finished half the biscuit, after which, he simply refuse to hold it and eat. He rather not eat.... guess he's not a very greedy baby after all. *LOL*

Enjoying the biscuit... (even my MIL likes it!! kena scolding from my FIL for eating their precious grandson's food... *LOL*)

Baby K: Do you think I have big eyes? Everyone said I look like my Daddy (and this makes Mummy very sad. *LOL*) But one thing for sure, I have very messy hair!!! I need a trim BADLY!!! (But please don't shave me botak... coz CNY is coming and my 1st birthday coming up too... *LOL*)

Last Gathering of the Year 2009

Pop over to Ryan and Claudine's house on the noon of New Year's Eve with Baby K. Evelyn was also there with BB Jarrod and Wenjie. The 3 of us were poly friends. I was in the same class with Claudine before and Evelyn was my attachment friend. We always meet up few times a year .... since donkey years back. This was my first time meeting up with them since our return. And it was also the very first time that we met up with our babies!!

It was a very fun and nice gathering. Although it was a short one, but we thoroughly enjoyed. And, thank you girls for the birthday presents. =D Hopefully we can meet up again for CNY 2010!!
