Last Day of the Year....

Today is the last day of 2009. =D Looking back, guess I "accomplished" nothing but one task, and that is, being blessed with a healthy baby. =) Very thankful for this little baby who most people fall in love with upon first sight. Reason? He is very smiley.

Thinking back, I am not sure how Kenneth and I managed to go through the confinement period (with no help at all) on our own. After which, it is a very blurry vision as to how I passed the days with Kayden when Kenneth went back to work. When Kenneth went for his detachment in June 2009, I panic a bit... because it meant that I would be home alone with Kayden for few weeks!! After few days of Kenneth's absence, we got on with our life very happily.... Kayden and I were doing so well without Kenneth that I wish he would postpone his detachment and return later. *LOL*

Time zoom by fast and we were back in Singapore. The plane rides home were smooth with Kayden awoke most of the times but thank god he did not cry or fuss one bit. Guess he was very excited because it was his first ride in the air after all. *LOL*

Started working 12 days after my return to Singapore. Did my first interview with the company when I was still in States and followed up with a 2nd one upon returning. Things went on very very smoothly. =) I was so afraid then that I would have difficulty getting a job and much more afraid that I would have a hard time adjusting back to working life. But all went well... =) and I am right here, in my office, typing this entry. =D

Year 2010 is coming (tomorrow) and it also means I will be 1 year older soon.... Resolution for 2010? Hope Kayden will grow up to be healthy, being petite and small is fine as this "trait" takes after Kenneth. He might be small, but he is very healthy. =D And I hope to spend more quality (I can' afford quantity now) time with Kayden (that's why we are bringing him for a trip in March). As for myself, nothing much... as I think my life is quite beautiful already (because of my little baby). =D
Have a Happy New Year!!

A Pleasant Surprise...

I had a very pleasant surprise this morning (just less than 5 minutes before I made this entry). I received my very first birthday present!!! It is from my lovely colleague, Ms C.L. She was afraid that I will go on leave (or MC) and so being Kiasu, passed the present to me so many days in advance. *LOL*
The lovely card that she made! I always prefer home-made gifts because this is something that money can't buy and when people asked what do I need, honestly, I don't really have any NEEDS now... it's more of the WANTS that's a lot!! *LOL*
She also got me this lovely pair of ear-rings. Really know my taste after "hanging" out with me for 2 months plus. =D

This is her! The beautiful Ms C.L. The "belle" of our department. With her around, things are done much easier when we need to get things going with other department. *LOL* Btw, she's still single but not so available already. *LOL* (Pardon my bloated face coz I am still on medication....)
I guess this is the one of the few things that make my working life more interesting now. So glad that I have some "kakis" at work... else I will die of boredom facing the trees everyday! *LOL*

Christmas Eve 2009

We had a fabulous Christmas Eve this year! No longer just the 2 of us (Kenneth and I) facing each other (which was the case for the past 2 years). =D We were invited to Elizebeth's jumbo house for hot pot. We fell in love with her jumbo flat!! So much so that Kenneth is not contemplating in getting one. *LOL*
Quite surprising that Baby K did not cry out loud when others wanted to carry him. Hmm... Must be due to the fact that it was girls wanting to carry him... and... these girls are young and pretty! *LOL* Also, the "weather" in the house is sooooo cooling!! Really have the Christmasy mood!
Food was great and the company was awesome!! We left early because our little baby was getting cranky as it was way past his bedtime. =p Hopefully next year, when Baby K is older, we are able to stay till later... =)

Nelly with Baby K.... Her little prince will be out to see us in few months' time! =)
Finally smiling, after staring at Auntie Nelly for a long long time...

Jie Jie Xin Yin with the very shock looking Baby K. Guess he was being carried away by force and thus the expression. *LOL*
Jie Jie Diana trying to squeeze Baby K...
Oh.. this is Jie Jie Eileen... trying to make Baby K a super man!!
Still super man-ing....
The 3 of us... finally reunited (with an additional little baby) after so many years!!! (we were "posted" out of the country one after another....)
Finally... our 1st Christmas together with our little Kayden... =)
p/s: pardon my pale look as I am still not well... =(

Merry Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas to all!! Are you going to any party tonight? For us, we are going to Elizabeth's house to have hotpot!! I guess this means Baby K will not be having any food. *LOL* Need to prepare some snacks for him. =D Don't think we will stay till late... definitely won't be staying till we countdown coz our little baby needs to sleep. =)

Just finish our Christmas Celebration in office. It was a success. Thank goodness the food we ordered is enough for all. Still have left over and gave them to other department coz they are not celebrating. Don't understand.. how can one don't celebrate Christmas. *LOL*
As for tomorrow, we are going to Rosalie's house for Christmas Feast! *yum yum*
Actually we already started our celebration yesterday. Took a cab to Takashimaya for lunch... had a very very yummy Japanese cuisine. *drool* Thought not cheap, but we feel that it is very worth it! So, we decided to go again next week! Reason: to celebrate New Year Day. *LOL*
Didn't bring Baby K to Orchard Road to look at all the Christmas lightings coz he is still too young to understand anything. Maybe next year, we will take a slow drive (coz sure will have traffic jam) down the road and let him admire all the beautiful lights... In fact, he already admired all these type of lightings when we were in Las Vegas before coming back. *LOL*

Guess we will be having a rainy Christmas eve... where is the snow? *LOL* Have a good celebration everyone!! =)

The Kiddos....

Mum has got 3 grand-kiddos.... 2 from Brother and 1 from me.. =D Kenneth and I always bring the other 2 kiddos out on Saturday... Most of the times, we fetch them to Mum's place. Some weekends back, as usual, went to Mum's place and from there, we took the North-East line to City Square Mall. Decided not to drive there coz it is only one MRT stop away....

Brought them to Swensens and we all (including Baby K) had an ice-cream feast there...

The Law siblings...
Shannon Jie Jie with Baby K...

Russell Kor Kor with Baby K....
Kenneth and I both agree that thank goodness we only have 1 kid. *LOL* It was a very tiring task to bring them out. Although they are not naughty or mischeivous but they sure ask loads of questions!! I guess our time will come soon once Baby K learns how to talk.....

Last Sunday, went to Kenneth's Grandpa birthday celebration. Dressed Baby K in new clothing... He is finally able to fit into the 9 months clothing. *LOL* Though he is still small, but he is sure one very healthy fellow. Guess he takes after Kenneth's family genes... the small bones + skinny genes. *LOL*
Giving the "hao lian" look....
Bashful.....
These days, when we bring him out, people will start to ask... "Boy or Girl?" My Baby is beginning to look like girl! *LOL* Guess it's because his hair is pretty long now... time for a trim... =D

Reunited with.....

The familiar music once again started to play... Baby K finally had a "reunion with"..... THE JUMPEROO!! Kenneth finally set it up after procrastinating for a long long long time!

Baby K was and at this point of entry, he is still scare of his once beloved "toy". Kenneth carried him close to the Jumperoo and he started whining... and when put him on the floor to touch it, he started crying out loud!!!

When we put him into the Jumperoo, his legs were so funny... curled up, refusing to touch the floor!! *LOL* After the series of photos below, which he sat inside for a mere 5 minutes, he started crying again!! Sigh... I wonder what's wrong... So now, we have to slowly re-introduce his old "toy" back to him....

Staring at the stuff....

Forcing a smile for the camera....
Bottom part, still 2 little teeth... but the upper part, has like 4-5 of them now!!

Random Update

I am thinking of going somewhere for holidays next March / April.... And so, I thought, maybe we can bring Baby K to Australia!!! Kenneth and I have yet to set our foot in Australia before... so, he accepted my "proposal" very readily... Now, I have to decide which part of Aussie we want to go. Anyone has any idea which part is baby-friendly? Perth? Don't need to discuss with Kenneth coz like always, he will have no comments and seldom will have objections. =D

Been feeling very sick recently... BIL is very kind to offer to send / fetch me from work after Kenneth talked to him. Oh well, he's using our car on weekdays... so... I guess this is the minimum favour that he can return. *LOL*

Went to Kenneth's grandpa's birthday celebration yesterday. As expected, Baby K started crying when the relatives started to talk to him. *LOL* Thank god he was okie after a while. Was on a winning streak... played mahjong and won couple of hundreds. *LOL* This Uncle's house always bring me luck whereas over at the other Uncle's house, Lady Luck is not with me.
Tomorrow is 冬至. Wishing everyone a Happy Birthday after eating 汤圆!! Last year, when we were still at Phoenix, I went to Lee Lee and bought ready made 汤圆 home. This year, I will be having home-made ones!! Will be taking leave so that can bring Baby K to mum's place... Yahooooooooooo!!
Hate office politics. *sigh* But love it that the Christmas celebration is coming!! We are having a party this Thursday!! Woooo Hoooooo... Always love Christmas... =) Hereby wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...

The Day When I Found out that I am.......

PREGNANT AGAIN!!!!!

I was on course from 9-11 Dec 09. Didn't feel too good on 10 Dec after the course and decided to take a taxi home. Upon reaching home, I decided to "pee on the stick" since my menses still was not here.

Pee-ed on the digital test kit and then lay it down on a flat surface while I proceeded with my daily routine - removing my contact lenses + makeup. In the midst of doing it, turned my head to glance at the stick. Was so shock when i saw the word "pregnant". Where is the "NOT" word??

Immediately stopped whatever I was doing and called my mum. Kenneth was not home yet. My mum was shock too and asked, "wah... so fast again! You all didn't take precaution ar?" =p She later said that it's a good thing to have it now too since my in laws are still young and can help out. Also, I am not that young liao... after having #2, can close shop!! unless accident happen again!!

Showed Kenneth the stick when he came back and he too some time to overcome the shock. *LOL* He then told my in laws and they were simply over the moon....

Went to see gynae, Dr Lawrence Ang on Saturday. Brought Baby K along but who knows, he poo even before I got to see the gynae and Kenneth hurriedly sent him home for diaper changing. In the end, I saw gynae alone. Dr Ang claimed that I am 100% confirm pregnant but as I am still at the early stage, can't see any heartbeat, only can see the little black dot - sac. Was told to go back on 2nd Jan 2010 to do an ultra-scan for heartbeat. That will be my best birthday present!! =D

Baby K is gonna have a brother or sister (preferred... *LOL*) next year when he's 18 months old!! My EDD should be around 11 Aug 2010. And right now, the horrible MS is coming. Feel nauseous no matter what time. But thank god, appetite is still okie. And coz of this, FIL is cooking porridge for me every evening. =) And Kenneth had also arranged with our "personal driver" aka BIL to send me to work every day starting from next week!!

I rather enjoy my 1st pregnancy... hopefully I will enjoy this 2nd one too... =)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During the 16th week visit to gynae, he revealed the gender of our little baby!! He said he might not be 100% accurate (but he had never said wrong before) and asked us to wait till the detailed scan which we went at 20th week. Confirm the gender once again during the 20th week scan. Ha ha... I shall not reveal it here... till the day the baby is born! EDD is on 10 Aug 2010.
There was spotting/bleeding when I was into my 17/18th week of pregnancy and gynae did some test for me, did not give me any MC or such. He even said a miscarriage will even happen when I am in the 20th week of pregnancy... =S On Friday, went to see my old family doctor and he said my case was rather serious and ordered me to have total bed rest for 1 week! No choice, much as I wish to go to work (coz don't think my boss like it for us to be absent for so long) but I think, for the sake of our 2nd bundle of joy, I just need to take the long MC.
Gynae's test result came back, all negative. Might be due to stress (from work), that resulted in the bleeding. But luckily, it was old blood.... So, baby is healthy and I started to feel the kicks at close to 18 weeks. This baby is very very active! Much more than Kayden!! I am so scare that he will bully Kayden next time. *LOL*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tum tum becomes huge when I am 6 months preggie. I guess coz this is the 2nd pregnancy, that's why the fats at the tummy is already loose... *LOL*

An Attractive "Offer"

Was having dinner with FIL last night and he told me that, after his discussion with my MIL and BIL, they decided that it is FINE if I am to STOP WORKING and stay at home to look after Baby K. They had already told Kenneth their "decision". *LOL* He said that with me staying at home, offering another pair of hands for Baby K, it will lighten my MIL's "burden" and "stress". Oh my... I didn't know that Baby K is so difficult to look after. *LOL*

I told him... I know that it is fine if I am to stay home and be a SAHM... but... this also means that we cannot travel and see the world!! I am not someone who can be contented just by staying put in our little island. I need to TRAVEL!! Also, if I am to stop working now, then it can't justify the number of years I spent slogging behind the books....

Anyway, this is a very attractive "offer"... hee hee... Maybe I will think about it when I have the time... Work is sooo busy these days... but at least, I am happy...
With Christmas just around the corner, I would like to wish everyone and their family, Merry Christmas and may there be snow in Singapore one fine day! *LOL*

Coach for sale!

Bought extra Coach coin purses and wristlet... trying to sell them away at COST!!! Just want to clear them away!!!

Take a look and email me at jlyi1979@yahoo.com.sg if you have any queries. Please do not leave me a message at my cbox as I am unable to view them from office. =(

Bought this for my MIL but she said it's too big for her...
Purplish-pink wristlet...

Light blue (or turquoise?) coin purse...

Another coin purse.....

Still in the midst of unpacking my boxes... might have more extra stuff to sell... Deadline has been given to Kenneth to unpack these boxes... *LOL* He needs to get them done before CNY! Still couple of months more to go...

Our weekends....

We had a long weekend again last week. No, it wasn't a public holiday.. but rather, we took leave on Friday to bring our little baby out. =) But sad to say, it rained the whole day on Friday and most of the times. =( But still, we had quality time together.
We started the morning by having MacDonalds at Sun Plaza. Baby K ate a lot of scramble eggs... I purposely ordered Big Breakfast so that he can have his share...
After breakfast, we went to ICA... wanted to drop Baby K's passport application form as well as apply the baby bonus for him. But the rain was so heavy that we couldn't make it to the ICA building from the car park!!! In the end, we went over to Mum's place which is just near by. Reached there, the rain also followed us... Though there was this little shelter at the car park where Kenneth let Baby K and I alight first, but our little baby still kena some rain... He must be very amused with the heavy downpour...

Reached mum's place and Baby K was "drenched". Mum hurriedly wrapped him up with a towel... for fear that he caught a cold...
Holding the milk bottle... He's actually very lazy and doesn't like to hold it himself...

Staring at Daddy... hoping that Daddy will help him to hold the milk bottle. *LOL*
Didn't go anywhere on Saturday.. Wanted to bring Baby K out but it was pouring again!!! *sianz* Baby K was busy ZzzzzZZzzzz-ing at home. *LOL*
On Sunday, went to Mum's place after fetching Shannon and Russell.. I think Kenneth has become a part time driver during weekends. *LOL* Always ferrying the kids plus my family around!! After Mum's place, went to Aunt's place... Though didn't do much but it was definitely a very enjoyable session out with my family. =)
I told Kenneth, starting from next year, we should at least take one day childcare leave or annual leave to bring our bundle of joy out every month. And I am thinking of bringing Baby K to Hong Kong Disneyland next year end... Let him have a feel of the winter "coldness".. Hee hee... One year later, hopefully he will be old enough to understand what is going on. =D In the mean time, I guess there will not be any trips for Kenneth and I because I am so scare that Baby K will not be able to recognise me when I come back. *LOL*

02 December 2009

Crawl crawl crawl...

Poor little Baby K seldom has the chance to crawl on the floor because everyone in the family, except me, agrees that the floor is dirty, full of dust and dirt, thus it is not good for Baby K to touch it. =S Baby K is always crawling around his play area, which is the mattress inside my PIL's room. So last night, Kenneth was not in (working night shift), I "kidnapped" Baby K into the room and let him crawl around. "Kidnapped" because apparently, my "shift" to look after Baby K starts only when he wants to go to bed. Sigh... Guess I need to "kidnap" him everyday when i reach home, starting from today!!

Anyway, Baby K had so much fun crawling around on the floor. I was so afraid that he will go and "kiss the floor" and then have bruises... If this happen, then I need to answer to many people! Sometimes I feel very funny.. he is my son and yet, I am so afraid that things will happen to him, just because if things really happen, I need to answer to his very very doting and protective grand parents. Sigh.... Not forgetting, they are very naggy. *LOL* I cannot stand people who nags. *LOL*

Below are some videos that I took while he was crawling around. He can't crawl well... he seems to be sitting on his right leg while crawling. Funny...

My Long Weekend and Random Pics of Baby K

The long weekend was over in a wink of eye! Went to get "beauty treatment" with Ms Tan on Friday. Did spa manicure + pedicure. *shiok* Btw, happy belated birthday! Guess you are having fun in India now!! *LOL*

Didn't do much stuff with Baby K as he was down with very very mild fever, which is due to the 3 upper teeth sprouting out at the same time. Actually wanted to bring him to Gymboree class on Saturday but coz of his fever, we postpone the trip till next weekend. Baby K has very protective grand parents, I wouldn't know how to answer to them if the fever shoots up after going out. *LOL* Met up with besties at night and chill out at Haji Lane area.

Sunday, went to visit Chen Feng and her family. Saw Baby Belden for the first time! He is only 2.5 mths old now. So cute! After that, went to Mum's place but no one was home. *LOL* Mum was away at Penang and Dad was not in. Hang around for a while, had our dinner there then we went back home.

This is my weekend... Hope yours is more interesting! *LOL*

Below are some pictures of our bundle of joy!

Happy to be standing and always love to hit whatever is in front with his hands.
See... smile till can't see eyes!

One morning... when he just woke up and had his milk. He tends to wake up at 6am... coz this is the time I wake up everyday!
" This is the way I sleep at night, I sleep at night, I sleep at night. This is the way I sleep at night, with my butt high in the air!" *LOL* (gosh, it actually sounds nice)
His crib is finally up! But he's not sleeping in it YET!
Not sure why he's so happy... But he sure is having a bad hair day! *LOL*
Glowing complexion. *LOL*
He was fussing and crying coz he wanted me to carry him.
The high chair we bought from States is finally up! The lazy Daddy finally set it... but... set up wrongly!! Need to re-do...
Enjoying his snack....
That Sunday when we went Mum's place but no one was in. *LOL* Distracted by the neighbour who walked pass...
Staring at the standing fan...

p/s: not sure why I can't view my c-box. I think my company restricted it. =(

25 November 2009

9 mths old

I nearly forgot... Baby K is 9 months old today!!! Cheeezzz... I think I am really swamp by stupid work... can even forgot such important date. Sigh.. How I miss those days when I was a SAHM. Too bad, don't think I will get to enjoy such life again as Kenneth doesn't want to go back to States coz he claims there will be a loss of income. Sigh... But sometimes, there are just some things (like being there for Baby K's every "first" moment) that money cannot buy. =(

Anyway, these are his progress....

  • Have 3 teeth. 2 below and 1 on top. For the top one, the other 门牙(left) is coming out soon also. And the tooth beside the right 门牙 is also showing some whitish sign.
  • Able to pull himself to standing position and will cruise around his crib or whenever holding on to things. Still not very good in crawling... think he will walk 1st then learn crawling. *LOL*
  • Very good appetite and able to finish one bowl of porridge for lunch + dinner. As for milk, depends on his mood.
  • Still very greedy. Expects us to feed him whatever we are eating whenever we dine out. He is able to eat almost everything that we are eating (beside peanuts, honey, etc).
  • Suddenly develop this stranger anxiety, even cried when babies crawled towards him.
  • Always whine when see me come back after work and will pretend to cry so as to make me carry him.
  • Always refuse to let others carry him when he is in my arms (feel very happy that he still knows I am the Mummy)
  • Always change into sitting position when he hears people coming into the room while lying down. This applies also when he is very sleepy and about to drift off to lala land.

These are all that I can remember... *LOL* Will update more when any comes into my mind and I will update his pictures soon! Stay tune!!

Busy Work Week....

Work has been madness-ly crazy these few days because out of the 4 managers, 3 of them took urgent leave / childcare leave!!!!! One needs to go back to Malaysia for the granny-in-law's wake, the next one needs to stay at home coz the baby having high fever and the last one, 2nd son having HFM Disease while the eldest son is being hospitalised!!!! And all of them will only be back next week!

So... with them gone, means left only me to cover the 3 of them... This also means I am very very very busy.. and my boss' face is black like 包青天!!

I wanted to go in and talk to him yesterday but was warned that the "weather" in the room was dark and gloomy! My colleague went in before me and told me that it was "thunder storm". *LOL* So, I very quietly retreated back to my seat... Who knows, he came out to look for me... But luckily, he still smile to me... *phew* Guess he should be grateful that I am around. *LOL*

So looking forward to the long weekend ahead... Looking forward to the time I can spend with my little baby and friends!

Random Update

The 4 of us plus one of the executive went into Boss' room yesterday. LP told him that she wants to clear her 6 days of childcare leave in December. Boss is not very happy about it. He claimed that this type of leave should be taken when we need to bring our babies for vaccinations, and asked us not to abuse it. -.-" And I thought government is very PRO FAMILY??????? Then he further said that LP and my section seems to be very quiet after office hours... eh... already after office hours... how "noisy" he wants us to be? He expects us to work OT... like the other section... sigh.... *ROAR* He asked if we can go for overseas assignment... well, what can I say? He knows that Baby K is well taken care of by my in-laws. Hopefully he will send me to some "decent" country. Sigh....

Boss asked me and CL to walk around the office to introduce ourself to colleagues from other departments. He said we need to let our presence known so that work will be easier for us in future. Sigh... Am I being hire to be PR? Maybe I am in the wrong department. *LOL* I am still thinking of how to get this done... Walk around and distribute candy bars to key personnels who we need to liaise with most of the times? *clueless*

Bumped into Lena and Duwei on the train the other day. Lena is one of the wife I met when I was in AZ. Very bubbly and cheerful. She said her hubby going to States again but to another place. As for Duwei, he is an old friend... AC's friend, to be exact. MRT seems to be the place for me to bump into old friends. *LOL*

Walked into Sun Plaza after work yesterday and burnt a big hole in my pocket. =p Bought some dresses and tops and signed up a "trim eyebrow" package. *LOL* Like this, cost me SGD300+!!! Asked Kenneth if he wants to sponsor my spending, he said he will fully reimburse me!! *grin* Like this, why still need me to work since he can substain my spending... hahaha....

Celebrating Ms Aw's birthday this weekend and the next weekend, will be celebrating Ms Tan's birthday! Both besties birthday are in November... same as Kenneth's!!

Kenneth said Baby K is able to hold on to the side of the bed and walk a few steps. I am so sad... I miss witnessing Baby K's first step. Sigh... And when I am home, he never cruise around to show me. He barely knows how to crawl and now is trying to master the skill of cruising. *LOL* Maybe he will start walking before he even can crawl. *LOL*

Jon and Cassi's Big Day

After meeting all the mummies and babies on Saturday, we attended Jonathan and Cassi's wedding on Sunday! Cassi is my Secondary Classmate. We have been the best of friends since then. We reached Pan Pacific at 7.30pm... ahem... we were not late. *LOL* Kenneth actually missed the hotel car park and we went one big round before reaching again. He was so worried that we would be late. *LOL*

This is Baby K's first time attending wedding dinner. He was fast asleep when we reached. Nothing new as he seems to love falling asleep in the car, maybe because of the motion. He woke up when we went into the ballroom. I must say he was very well behave throughout our stay. But he is definitely one very greedy baby. Of all the dishes, seems like nothing suits him. *LOL* Mini Yam Rings were served and I fed him that. Then came the Roast Chicken, I also gave him some. We left early because it was already 10.30pm and baby needs to sleep. It was only towards the end, he started to fuss because he was sleepy. He slept all the way and even when we reached home, he did not wake up.

The wedding was a very beautiful one. =) Everything was beautiful... The bride is GORGEOUS!!! I am so happy to see this best friend of mine walking down the red carpet. =) Cassi, wishing you a blissful marriage with Jon. =)

We went to Mum's place before going to the dinner since Mum stays near town (so miss my old house - good location!) Mum asked me to take a shot of her and Baby K in front of her "prospering" "orange tree". *LOL*
The tree... I don't recall that it's ever so tall...

Baby K always like to scratch his ear these days... coz one of his upper tooth is coming out!!
Been a long long time since Kenneth was in pants + shirt... more than 2 years... *LOL*
My happy family...
Cassi marched in ... accompanied by her eldest brother... =) Beautiful bride...
Very happy to be seated on the high chair.. kept using his hands and bang the table... even when the couples were taking their vows... -.-"

Gathering for the Feb 09 Babies

We had a very busy and fulfilling weekend. =) Brought Baby K to the Feb 09 Babies gathering at Sengkang. As Kenneth needs to work, my personal "driver" sent us there and then came back few hours later to fetch us. =D Thank you, Michael!

This is our first time meeting all the babies and mummies. I was very excited but not so for Baby K. *LOL* He was fast asleep when we were on the way there in the car. Upon reaching, despite the noise (many babies crying and shouting), he continued his beauty sleep. Mummy Tracy commented that Baby K really can sleep! *LOL* I hurriedly ate my lunch but only managed to finish half the nasi lemak and he woke up.

Carried Baby K up from the car seat and put him down on the play mat with the other babies. Most of the babies already know how to crawl and if they came too close to him, he will start crying. And when the babies snatched his toys, he will also start crying. Sigh... So Baby K spent most of the times sitting on my lap.

Baby K did not take part in any of the "competition".. like Longest Standing Baby (think he will cry coz need to stand side by side with the other babies) or the Fastest Crawling Baby (he still can't crawl too well, head will tend to kiss the floor), etc. We just sat by the side and watched. It was indeed a very interesting gathering.

Met lots of mummies and chatted with them. Only remember some of their names. Heee hee.. Coz really too many for me to absorb. Left after few hours and sent Mummy Adeline and Baby Renee home. =) Mummy Adeline is such a young mummy... have 2 kids somemore! *envy* Hope to join more of such gathering next time. =)

Baby K warming up with 2 of his friends... =)
Tu-tu mouth....

Kayden and Aaden... =) *Baby K having red brows again coz was fussing before that*
Bite bite bite...
The most stylo baby... Han!
