Kayden @ 16 months old

Kayden turns 16 months old today!

• He is very greedy. Whenever he sees us eating something, he will want his share too, even if it means he just had his dinner. Even in school, things are the same! When he sees his little friends eating their snacks, he will make noise and teacher has no choice but to share the snacks with him. Of course, teacher will share Kayden's with them too!



• He loves BREAD!! He can eat this for his every meal.



• He knows how to shake his head when he doesn't want something. But when he wants something after we ask, he will also shake his head!! How to differentiate? If he really wants the thing, he will shake his head and make loud loud noise, meaning he wants. If he doesn't want, he will just shake his head quietly. Took me some time to realise this. *LOL*



• He can crawl very fast (ok, nothing new) and can take few steps at one go. Hopefully by next month, he is able to walk on his own.



• His vocabulary is still very limited. He only knows how to say "mum mum"... this shows how greedy he is!



• He can listen to simple instructions, like pick up this, give me that, etc etc....



• He is still very smiley and will wave "hi hi" to strangers when I ask him to. Will wave good bye to them also. But if they ever attempt to carry him, he will stretch out his arms towards me and want me to carry. If he is already in our arms, he will keep shaking his head. Damn funny...



• He loves to play with cars and ball! What a typical BOY!



• He loves to watch commercials. He will pay 100% attention to it but once the show starts, he will crawl away and get busy with his own stuff.



• He loves to hold the pen and just anyhow scribble on the paper. He knows where I keep the pens and he will always point to that area and make some loud noise, indicating that he wants it!



• He loves music and will tend to sway his body left to right when music starts.

• He loves to see the MRT zoom-ing past whenever we are in the car. He gets very excited when he sees one and will make loud loud noise so as to get my attention.
