Updates of Kayden at the Infant Care Centre

Kayden has been in the Infant Care Centre for 3 weeks already. According to the teachers, he is adapting well. Nevertheless, he will still cry whenever I pass him to the teacher in the morning. But he is showing sign of improvement. Despite the tears and 鼻涕, his body will lean forward and with arms stretch out, towards the teacher. =D After that, he will wave good-bye to me in between those big big drops of tears. *LOL* I used to feel the heart ache when I leave but these days, I guess I am immune to it. *LOL*

He is making progress in his walking. He tends to walk around (few steps at one time) inside the centre. He understands what the teachers are saying. They have to be very careful and avoid mentioning the words "Daddy" and "Mummy" coz upon hearing these 2 words, he will burst out crying again!! And when he sees the door open, he will cry and point outside (meaning he wants to go home).

He knows that the teachers cannot be carrying him all day long as they need to attend to other babies / toddlers also. He will sit there and wait for the teachers to finish whatever they are doing. He is pretty attached to one of the teacher, so much so that she needs to sneak out quietly whenever she needs to go for lunch. *LOL*

There was one day, he had so much fun with Lyvina. They were practically chasing each other around inside the centre! Of course, on their fours. And Kayden even attempted to kiss Lyvina! *LOL* Lyvina just pushed him away. =D

I guess he must be feeling very happy in the centre because he has put on some weight! Although not very FAT but at least more meat on the face and body. Either that, or he is having good food there. *LOL* I guess, as long as he is growing up healthily, weight is not an issue at all. (Thank god that the "running" days are over!) =)
