Kayden's Progress.....

I have been very curious about what Kayden does in school everyday, especially when teachers said he can self feed (which we don't let him do so at home because they are afraid that he will mess himself up), hug and kiss the fellow friends and also did "art and craft" during activities hours! And so, I left my camera with the teachers and ask them to help me take pictures whenever possible.
PLAY TIME

Sitting on his favourite chair and looking at the art work done by his friends.
Very seriously looking at them. *LOL*

Climbing up and down the staircase with his friend, Lizhen. Just 1 month back, Kayden still can't go up and down by himself. I am so proud that he is able to do it now. Practise really does make things perfect! =D
Oh! What BIG EYES he has! *LOL*
This is his favourite "car" inside the centre. He must sit on it every morning when we reach the place and the poor teacher needs to push him around for a while. *LOL* Guess this boy really loves cars!! be it big or small... =D
LUNCH TIME
Nice view behind Kayden. *LOL* Most of the times (in fact, I think it's everyday), Kayden will have porridge (very mashy type) for lunch. He is going to Playgroup next month and it will means, he will be exposed to more solid food (like rice and noodles). Teacher is so afraid that he can't adapt and asked us to train him up at home now. Oh well, her worries are unfounded as this greedy boy of mine can eat all these solids real well now.
Stirring the porridge (but doesn't seems to be like)... Portion seems to be not a lot... *LOL*

And the eating begins! Still not perfect in holding the spoon... but never mind, he will get the hang of it soon... hopefully. =)
Opppsss... messy messy....
Started to play with his food again...
If I am the one feeding him at home during dinner, I will let him hold the spoon and put the food into his mouth. But if it's done by others, they will not let him do so. *LOL* They are so afraid that he will mess himself up or mess up the highchair and the floor. Oh well, all these are unavoidable during a kiddo growing up stage... Things are different at my mum's place...he can mess up the place all he likes. *LOL* My mum, same like me, believes that we should just let the child do whatever he wants (of course not those dangerous acts). I believe in FREEDOM! *LOL*
Teacher was telling me that they are also training Kayden to walk to the toilet himself when he needs a diaper change. And instead of lying down to get changed, he will be standing. After that, they will pass his pampers to him and get him to throw into the bin himself. These are to prepare him for going over to Playgroup. Also, they are not feeding him every 2 hourly now because in PG, he doesn't get to eat so frequent. *LOL* Kayden will not have a problem with this also (as long as he doesn't see others eating) coz he is not those type who will whine and cry when hungry.

I guess it's not a wrong move to put him into the centre (although it burn a big hole in our pockets) as he gets to learn so much things!! Being a working mum means that I do not spend a lot of time with him and definitely do not have that much time to train him all these stuff. We have no regrets putting him inside. =D
