Good Old Plain Water

Kayden has his first taste of plain water today! From birth till now, we had never gave him any plain water. Since we will be going for trips in August, and the weather is so hot, it is unlikely that we give Kayden MILK all the time so that he will not suffer from dehydration. Thus, Kenneth and I feel that it is high time we introduce this wonderful H2O to him.

Equipped with some lukewarm water in his 4oz milk bottle and his blue infant spoon, I strapped him to his bouncer and started to feed him bit by bit. He was very skeptical with this tasteless stuff at first and just stored everything in his mouth. After a while, he swallowed them! He sat very still throughout a good whole 5 minutes, with very little spitting. I am so glad that he accepts this basic necessity so well.

Was reading the "Hello Bee, Hello Me" book. And he got so excited when it comes to the "Hello Me" page coz he will see his own reflection.

Tasting the yummy tasteless plain water!

He also manages to flip back on his own today, right infront of his Daddy's eyes (while I was busy pumping out my milk). I guess, he needs not be sleeping in the little confined space from now onwards!
