First Road Trip with Baby K (1 - 4 Aug 09)

We are back from the mountains! The above pic is the view that we get whenever we leave our hotel. The whole trip was serene and peaceful. We never rush through the day. Everyday woke up late and we felt so lucky that Baby K co-operated with us throughout the trip. We were so afraid that he would start to fuss and cry during night time because of the unfamiliar surroundings (hotel room) but he didn't. He only cried a bit during the first night and slept through! Few times a night, he will flip up on his tummy and then looked at me with his sleepy eyes. I would then put him back down and put the soothie back and he would fall asleep again.

Stretching and flipping on the big bed once we reached the hotel. He slept on the same bed as us throughout the 3 nights (because the baby crib looks dirty). And every night, Baby K will kick and kick Kenneth. Haha. I smart... I used a pillow and form a barricade between Baby K and me!

We went to Desert Hills Premium Outlets. We beat the scorching sun and the shopping crowd. The place was infested with tourists as well as locals on Sunday. Nevertheless, we bought quite a lot of stuff. Before coming back on Tuesday, we hit the place again and this time, shopping was a bliss... It was literally EMPTY!

We drove up to LA on Monday. Walked around Fame of Walk and took some pictures. Baby K poo-ed and we couldn't find any place to change him so we had to walk half an hour back to our car and changed him there. Kenneth carried him all the way because I was afraid the poo would flow out. Me? I was pushing the stroller, weaving in and out through the crowd. Upon reaching the car, I proceeded to change him. Kenneth was breathless. Ha ha... No joke having to carry a baby and walked so long. Lucky Baby K is not a fat baby. Haha...

First time seeing Giordano in USA!

Didn't take a lot of pictures throughout the whole trip. Too busy travelling in the car and too busy shopping. But it was a good trip. Relax and peaceful.

The happy baby sitting inside his car seat waiting to go home. He was so smiley throughout the trip. Smiling to everyone and anyone who talked to him! This is Baby K's first road trip with us. And we are going for another road trip next Saturday!! Hopefully he will be guai guai and don't fuss and cry at night!

Btw, I think I didn't say where we went... hahaha... We went to Palm Springs! A place where I think not many people went before.
